Robert Lewandowski wants to move to La Liga or Premier League in the summer

Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski is interested in playing in the Premier League or La Liga. The Polish international will push for a move in the summer transfer window.

The Bayern Munich striker has the ability to break any defense line and has broken numerous records playing for the German giants. He broke Gerd Muller’s long-standing record of most goals in the league in a calendar year. He scored 41 goals in just 29 league games to break the 49-year-old record.

Lewandowski was unstoppable yet again in the Bundesliga netting 43 times in just 34 top-flight matches in 2021. The 33-year-old is on fire this season as well scoring 30 goals in just 25 games so far. He has scored a total of 324 goals and provided 68 assists in 354 games playing for the Bavarians. He is also their second-highest goalscorer behind Gerd Muller.

According to the reports, Lewandowski wants a move away from the Bavarians to face new challenges at the end of the season. Robert Lewandowski signed a two-year contract with Bayern last summer that will see Bayern avail his services until the end of the 2022-2023 season.

Bayern will be looking forward to Lewandowski signing a new contract in the summer. However, if the deal does not go through Bayern will join the race to sign their rival’s striker Erling Braut Haaland.

Robert Lewandowski options

The striker has alerted some of the biggest clubs of Europe such as Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. Considering Lewandowski’s age this might be his last dance and he is desperate to move to either Spain or England.

The 33-year-old is 1.85 meters tall which allows him to win aerial battles in the opposition’s half. He can find gaps to find the back of the net and score long-distance goals as well. He is a lethal finisher who loves to get behind the defenders.

To summarize, He is suitable for any top club across Europe but precisely for Liverpool and Manchester City. Moreover, these two clubs will be looking for a striker in the summer transfer window.
