Bayern Munich working on extending the stay of three players

Bayern Munich has been busy extending their young talents’ contract but has missed out on three veterans of their team. Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer, and Thomas Müller will all see their contracts expire in 2023. However, the current Scenario is different for each player for a contract extension.

According to tot the reports, the goalkeeper and captain of the team, Manuel Neuer has already started negotiating with the club, and discussions have been positive as per Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg. The German International joined the Bavarians in 2011 and has been a top signing ever since.

As for Müller, the Raumdeuter has never looked like leaving Bayern and is totally not concerned about his contact at the moment. Even Bayern are positive for the German to extend his contract and are not rushing to negotiate. He joined Bayern from their academy and has played 608 games. Thomas Muller has scored 264 goals and has assisted 241 goals for the German outfit.

Lewandowski has been leading the headlines for quite a while now. The Polish international is interested in moving to La Liga and Premier League and has not been involved in any talks with the club. Moreover, There have been speculations of Bayern signing Erling Haaland in the summer. Robert Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich in 2014 and has transformed into one of the world’s best strikers. He has scored 325 times and assisted 68 goals in just 355 games for the club.

Bayern to push for new contract by the end of the season

Although, Bayern’s CEO Oliver Kahn confirmed that Bayern Munich are happy with Robert Lewandowski will not participate in the race to sign Erling Braut Haaland. Bayern has a world-class striker at their disposal. When asked about Bayern’s interest in Haaland, Kahn told Suddeutsche Zeitung:

“We have Robert Lewandowski. He’s going to score 30 or 40 goals for a few more years.”

It is very much likely that Bayern Munch will begin their negotiation with the Polish international in the coming weeks and Neuer will also sign the by the end of the season. As for Müller, he will definitely stay but he will take his own time sign a new contract.
